Which, last time I checked, was largely ignored by the kernel.
That's why it's called "advise".
Seriously though; as and when those hints can be used by the VM, that
is the interface they will be expected to be delivered on.
In the meantime, what Andrew wants is fcntl/F_NOCACHE, as he's
already noted.
