They were -AFAIK- not affected. It only happened with 10.5.2.

No, there is no reason for not doing this. All of our clients are
running all of the available updates.
But there is no Time Machine update for our server (Mac OS X Server
10.5.2), so the server is still running kernel 9.2.0 and not 9.2.2.
We have now just put kernel 9.2.2 from one of our clients on our
server which solved the TCP problem also for the server.
