you try to compare two quite different approaches, give a example of
what you expect,
I think as Mike notice you expect something that it should never happen,
you just discovered the Mike's style :D, Mike is not rude He 's only
trying to push
your ass, take it as a challenge, anyway you should listen to Terry,
Quinn and Mike
they are well placed to answer,
sure it could be a malicious bug that's happened in a specific case,
but without nothing to reproduce it
except a comparison between to0/three different OSes
a concrete example of each to illustrate your discussion, plus a
kernel is design by people who bring their own experience and views,
some of them answered you
