Oops.  You can tell I'm tired.  Here's how that was supposed to read:

Thanks for all the discussion.  It feels so much better to get this
stuff out and into the open.  I feel like these issues have been
ignored by too many people.  Even if you disagree, at least we're
talking about it now.  :-)
