Are you implying that stock MacOSX is allowed to run in a VMware VM?
I thought you had to do license violating things, like running some
"hackintosh" distro to use MacOSX in a VM.
You are allowed to run multiple copies of Mac OS X SERVER inside VMs
_on_ Mac OS X Server, and only on Apple hardware. Also, each
instance of Mac OS X Server must itself be purchased and licensed.
So you're looking at something like a Mac Mini Server at $999 and $499
per copy of Mac OS X Server to be able to set up this type of
configuration.
I'm sure Terry will let me know if I've misinterpreted the license.
Well above my pay grade to answer any sort of question on licensing.
I just hack kernels.
