We have an assembly optimization for some of our kernel processes that
need to save off the state of the floating point registers (i386 only).
Other platforms (Windows and Linux) seem to have kernel functions for
doing that. I've been searching.
Does OS X/Darwin have a function for saving and restoring the state of
the floating pointer registers?
Thanks,
...Duane
