Creating the socket in kernel mode is something I have considered, but
this would reduce supportability and flexibility of the kernel module
and break compatibility with the established design. In addition to the
application handling authentication, it also controls what type of
connection is being used to the server: domain socket, or network socket
and which protocol and security options, or custom communication device.
The kernel module is not necessarily customized for each application.
