Admittedly, I could see how you could read this as "wasn't
implemented in 10.4 but is implemented in future systems". I'll
leave <rdar://problem/3931697> to track the issue with the kernel and
I'll treat <rdar://problem/7724502> as a bug against the technote to
clarify the text quoted above.
