Subject: Working of KAUTH_FILEOP_CLOSE_MODIFIED flag in KAUTH_FILEOP_CLOSE
Hello All,
I am interested in the KAUTH_FILEOP_CLOSE action of FIle Operation Scope. As mentioned in Technical article we get KAUTH_FILEOP_CLOSE_MODIFIED flag which is set if a modified file is being closed.
I have tested in KAUTH_SCOPE_FILEOP scope but I didn't get KAUTH_FILEOP_CLOSE_MODIFIED flag set when I closed the file which I have modified. For testing I open the file in TextEdit, change data & then close the file. Also I wrote test app which opens the file, writes some data & then closes it.
My question is when exactly is the KAUTH_FILEOP_CLOSE_MODIFIED flag set. Am I missing out on something significant.
Thanks,
Sheetal.
