Found a second, different bug that will crash the kernel on any mac os x >= 10.6.0, including Mountain Lion.
Again, using a hand-crafted mach-o file.

I'll oblige to filing a bug report with steps to reproduce, the only thing I'd like is a quick explanation of what happens so I can learn something out of it.
It's getting late here, so I'll do that first thing tomorrow.
Cheers, Antoine

Hi,
Is Apple still providing security fixes for 10.6.8 ?
I've been toying with hand-made mach-o files, and stumbled on one that'll easily crash the kernel (sometimes it gives a kernel panic, sometimes the machine just freeze and starts beeping in batch of 3).
If an Apple engineer is interested, let me know. I'd rather avoid the bugreporter as it is a faceless blackbox that I can only label as very frustrating...
I'm interested, particularly if this reproduces on 10.7+, but I would need a bug report filed with steps to reproduce.
