Hi Yin,

I believe the big things that wont work are facetime, imessage (not sure why these don't work, haven't looked into it), and power management (assuming your machine uses xcpm and not the old AppleIntelCPUPowerManagment kext, again, I haven't looked into it so I don't know what happens). I believe there are a few other things not included in the kernel, but can't remember them right now.

Depending on the reason why you are compiling the kernel, you should be able to achieve the same results with a kext and not loose out on any features.

Hi all,

If I compiled a 10.9.1 xnu kernel and replacing the original one, will there some feature missing compare to default Mac OS X?

Thanks,
Yin
