What I see in that instruction set that each version of XNU build requires different version of OSX in the build machine, and different version of XCODE - sort of…
So as I said, I need to try couple versions of built, perhaps like 10.6 thru 10.9 or 10.10, I guess the best choices is to go thru different VM, which I’ve done already. And once, my VMs are running ( well I’m using vmware Fusion ), I should be able to just install the required versions of XCODE matched with the VM’s osx version.
Correct me, if that approach is not right.
But what I see is that on 10.8, Xcode 4.4 installation is failing. I will post the failure point in a later post.
Just in case if anyone could suggest, if this should work or not.
