I wouldn't be so quick to jump on that bandwagon. I think Mac's are great and Apples dedication to an excellent product are undeniable, but this article leaves much to be desired for proof of it being the most secure system...

The study seems to measure the number of successful hacks but doesn't make mention of the total number of attempts which would be a necessary for comparison to determine lowest percentage of penetration on a per system basis. BSD and Darwin may have been hacked less simply because there were fewer attempts due to lower install base. The study does seem to acknowledge that to a certain extent. But in that acknowledgment it makes a subtle point that if you have BSD or Darwin installed, you will have less financial damages (see paragraph on Malware Proliferation) due to these "malware epidemics." While that may be the case now, it would seem more a function of install base than level of system security. When there is a larger install base of Mac OS X clients and servers, it is most likely that the number of successful hacks on the system will go up. Consider if the positions of Windows and Mac OS were swapped, historically. Based on this articles logic, it would find Windows as the most secure system (many assumptions are made in such a statement.)

So while there may be fewer successful hacks of a Mac OS / BSD system, I would think it is more likely due to the lack of install base.

This article "seems" more of a sales-pitch than anything, although it is unclear as to what benefit they gain from pushing BSD / Mac based systems. And whats with that preemptive "believe us, not them" blurb at the end. I don't think statements like that lend to a company's credibility.
