[Fed-Talk] Quota Management and iDisk type application

It took me a week, but I finally got a perfect "privatized" version of
iDisk... I wrote clients for Mac OS X, Windows and Linux... all very
slick, all very nice looking.
I took it a step further and enabled a "web based file management"
module as well using the X-SYS engine, so even if you do not have the
xDisk client, you can connect to a web address and basically have the
exact same file / folder features you have from a mapped drive.
The problem I am having is not related at all to my application, and I
am hoping someone on here maybe has some ideas.
I have enabled quotas through workgroup manager on all the volumes
(including both XRAIDs).
I have enabled quotas on individual user accounts, and I CANNOT get OS
X to enforce the quota using the Workgroup Manager.
Because I am familiar with Unix, I did use "edquota" and did manually
edit the user quota files, and now they ARE enforced, but only when I
manually configure with edquota.
I do not mind doing this, but it bugs me that the GUI interface is not
working... any ideas? Or should I stick to using edquota?
I am packaging the xDisk application up for others to use (the
government-ized version is called NetDisk), and I would prefer to say
sysadmins can use the Workgroup manager rather than walk them through a
terminal interface (which scares a lot of non-unix Mac users).
Any ideas welcome!
Mike
