IDG's storage guru, Mario Apicella, wrote an opinion piece yesterday
in advance of the full review of Xsan in February. He praised Apple as
a "new star" in storage and highlighted the capabilities of Xsan and
the 5.6TB Xserve RAID. He concluded that he'll be keeping his eyes on
this new storage player and advised his readers to do the same.

eWeek's ExtremeTech ran a long and very positive story today that
chronicles a Linux enthusiast's conversion to Mac OS X. In a very
positive article, ExtremeTech's Jim Lynch highlights the ease of use
of the system, praises Expose and other features in Panther and
debunks myths about the lack of games on the platform. He also
submits high praise for the Power Mac G5 system and ends his article
exhorting readers to try out a Mac mini and see Mac OS X for
themselves.
