Not helpful. We have been given specific requirements to follow
regarding passwords. How far up DoN those go I can't say. The
competing OS's are able to handle those requirements. It's bad
enough that Macs have been virtually banned from DoN. Throwing more
ammo on the fire is not helpful.
As a side note, I'm disappointed that iDVD 5 on a dual 2.5 G5 (1 GB
RAM) stalls out more than iDVD 4 on a 867 G4 (864 MB RAM) (both
running 10.3.9). Also, I'm disappointed that Apple Stores are
putting Mac mini's with 10.3.8 into the hands of switchers some 50
days after Tiger was released, i.e. my boss personally purchased his
first two Apple's machines ever and one had 10.3.8 on it and this is
right out an Apple Store just last week (yes you can call, but that
takes time, and I can tell you of people who will never deal with
certain companies ever again because of the time and hassle
encountering when calling, so the less calls required the fewer
places for problems).
