Personally, I use ClamAV. When I go to a different location and want to plug in my Powerbook, they almost always ask about the AV I'm using. I typically first tell them there are no viruses on OS X. Either they have the "Oh!" expression or a completely blank one. If I get the blank one, I tell them I have ClamAV installed. They're usually still blank, but they accept "it's different because it's not Windows" and let me plug in anyway (not that they'd stop me since I can find a free IP if I really need to) =-)
