My wife uses a Palm Tungsten E2 and is very happy with it and the "docs
ToGo" and Adobe Reader for Palm make it easy to take information with the
unit. Works well with iSync.
At work I use a very old Handspring Visor Pro; but it still does what I need
and also uses the Docs ToGo and Adobe reader for Palm (as well as most other
Palm OS applications.
Were I to replace either (and I am seriously thinking of upgrading the
Visor), I would seriously look at the new Palm "LifeDriveĀ Mobile Manager".
Everything I have seen in the literature indicates no serious problems with
iSync. Details are at the PalmOne web site.
There is a problem with iSync on any Palm device when using OS X's "Fast
User Switching" and having two or more users logged in simultaneously while
doing a "synch". Palm's support site says that they are working that issue;
but if I'm the only one logged in at Synch time -- I have had no problems.
