Title: RE: [Fed-Talk] SCR331 CAC reader update failure
I haven't done any 5.x updates, but I recall when I was installing the 4.13 update,
I had to use a Windows box. Perhaps the same holds true for the 5.x update?

Subject: [Fed-Talk] SCR331 CAC reader update failure
I've got a number of folks here up and running with tiger and the cac card, but have recently run into a problem. I have a large number of SCR331 USB CAC readers which unfortunately are non-CCID. About a year ago I successfully updated the firmware on several to the newer CCID version, and everything worked fine. Now every time I try to flash a non-CCID reader to the CCID version (currently using the latest version 5.18 from SCM) I the system hangs when it attempts to "Switching to DFU mode". I've tried dropping back to version 4.13 and without success.
Anyone have any idea how I can update these readers?
Thanks!
Tom
