I have no expertise in this but can you just run it in Classic mode?

I am the custodian for a unique code which allows analysis of high
speed shrapnel ricochet in complex 3-D space, for several million
fragments through up to four bounces. This code was used for design
changes for two very large new facility construction projects,
Contained Firing Facility (CFF) and National Ignition Facility (NIF)
here at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL).
This code generates and facilitates analysis of very large data sets
(up to several million pages of 3-D coordinate data). It also allows
visualization of selected results.
This code was written for OS 9 using MetroWorks CodeWarrior. I need
it ported to OS X.
I tried to find someone here at LLNL to do the porting for me, but
was unsuccessful. I also asked on Apple's SciTech list, with no
response. Unfortunately I have no funding to pay anyone to do the
porting.
I don't think it would be a very big effort to port the code, since
it is based on an open source graphics code that has already been
ported to OS X. (POV-Ray) The effort would be moving the custom
routines from the OS 9 version to the OS X version. I have the source
code and the CodeWarrior project files.
While the shrapnel analysis code is based on an open source code, I
have a license modification from the POV-Ray copyright holders to
restrict distribution, due to concerns about potential nefarious
uses. I would need a legally binding non-disclosure/non-distribution
agreement from anyone who helped with the porting.
Would anyone like a challenge and the chance to do a small service to
the U.S. by porting this code to OS X? If so, please contact me
directly offlist at <email@hidden>
Thanks in advance for any help.
