Be certain that you can "unlock" your CAC card in a known good system; to ensure that you are using a CAC pin.

OK, I've checked out all the advice so far....
1) Yes, the CAC works in my system. I am able to browse sites that
require CAC with Safari and all works well.
2) I Have all 3 certificates (identity, signing, and encrypting).
3) I have a "DoD CLASS 3 Root CA" under X509Anchors in Key Chain
Access. (is this enough?)
4) I am able to unlock the "smart card #2" key chain in Key Chain
Access.
5) The address in the "Account:" dropdown is the same as the address
in my certificate.
I am unsure as to how to check and make sure my certificates are
trusted. How would I do this?
I still do not have a option in the New Message window to sign (or
encrypt) the message.
Thanks,
Mike
