You know it sounds great... Really. But I do not think it's going to take
off... Video on an iPod - yes it does work out if you travel, or do things
that you have no other choice to do but watch (I've converted several DVDs
over to iPod video format (full movies) that I take with me when I travel
and watch on the ipod)...
However, I do like Welcome Back Kotter, and I do like Growing Pains (in fact
I asked my wife the other night before this was even announced I wondered
why Nick at Nite didn't have growing pains)...
Here's the deal - people don't want to sit in front of their computer to
watch a TV show.. I'd rather sit in my living room and watch my 61 inch TV
on a comfortable couch, not in my home office on a 20 inch cinema... My wife
doesn't like to watch shows on the computer...
I think the only placed that "internet tv" is going to get popular is the
work place (people watching shows instead of working), but it will take all
of one month for employers to get word of it and block the sites.
Computers are not going to replace a regular tv, at least not in the
foreseeable future in my opinion.
