I am not even using hostnames - am using the IP number of the
machine. It just hangs. I have been wondering if going through
Airport is affecting it?

I am using Cisco VPN Client 4.7.00 (0510). The client must
generally be working, because I can access internally shared drives
using Appletalk, and I can ftp to drives that again are only
available internally.
For the life of me, however, I can not ssh or telnet to machines
that I can normally do those commands to from inside our network.
I am stumped on this and any help would be greatly appreciated.
I have been having problems with it as well, but all of my issues
are because I cannot connect unless I use fully qualified hostnames.
