The new DoD email address labeling requirements create problems
with Address Book.
In many DoD organization civilian employees are required to have
their email addresses labeled as follows (or something similar):
Lastname Firstname MiddleInitial Civ Base/SubCode
<email@hidden>
When adding these email addresses to Address Book I have to go in
and manual edit the entire description label. I end up putting
"Lastanme Civ Base/SubCode" in the lastname field because Address
Book does not have an field that I can see will handle that;
however, I'm certain this will come back to haunt me someday.
Also, Address Book has a field for Middle Initial; however, it
seems to only appear when I add the email address directly from Mail.
Okay, I found the add field for Middle Initial and Suffix. Would be
nice if the parsing could be enhanced to detect these new DoD standards.
