I understand that Codeweavers is working on a product for Intel Macs,
and a recent news report (since Boot Camp was announced) said that
they were somewhat disappointed that their thunder had been stolen
from an "upcoming product announcement".
I expect that we'll have something from them in the next month or two.

Do you know if any of the current versions of Office
are known to function
reasonably well under Darwine? I believe that most
of the people I know do
use Office 2003.
Of course, I am presuming Darwine is probably only
functional on the Intel
based Macs (although I plan to buy an Intel based
Mac this year though).

I haven't even tried running MS Office under Darwine;
it is too early in development.
I am waiting to see what Codeweavers does now that
there are Intel Macs. http://www.codeweavers.com/
I would not be surprised to see a Mac version of
Crossover Office before years end.
This is all purely speculation on my part!
The flip side is that you can get Office for Mac.
