I agree that the Parallels VM Emulator is an amazing achievement.
At this point, sound doesn't work and it doesn't go full screen, although
the full screen issue could be operator error.
It uses a virtual drive in a file strategy, rather than a partition.
Eventually I hope they offer the ability to run off of the partition as an
option. Although I think that will be a challenge, as the driver set for the
virtual environment is different. For example, the windows environment
doesn't really control the ATI card, when it is running in a window, Mac OS
X does. Games and more hardware intensive software will run better in the
pure windows - boot camp - environment, and I would prefer to only have one
copy of XP and pc files on the system..
Over all the mac now becomes the perfect computer. You can run everything.
And you can run very fast.
Boot Camp and Parallels in the same week, WOW.
