I beg to differ on this one. The support cost for macs is less than that of
Windows. Most macs can be supported by their user. We have actually
reduced costs by using more macs. I don't know the actual number but
somewhere I saw the number of personnel needed to support macos based
machines vs windows machines and it was something like one tech could
support 1.5-2 more macs than a pc tech could. Thus actually reducing the
number of it people needed.
