Two things come to mind..
- Most direct, check the process list for a process “CAC”, with a card inserted check the process list and you can get all of the details.
- More hassle but if you want more details you could access the CAC keychain.

The issue: I want to add into the script to only speak the statement if a CAC card is present. Any ideas on how to detect if a CAC card (or if logged in by CAC) is inserted would be greatly appreciated.
