[Fed-Talk] Office Update

I loaded the Office update, and it seems like the Mac Business Unit has been
busy! The main reason I didn't use Entourage was it's lack of syncing
ability and the "no spotlight". Microsoft resolved both of them quite
nicely, by even taking it a step further and allowing it to sync with your
existing Mac apps making it one big happy address book.

The only thing that isn't super nice is there is no Universal binary of
Office (and there won't be one according to MS, until the next full version
of Office), so those of us with Intel Macs would have to run through
Rosetta.

At any rate, I am glad to see Microsoft putting such an effort into Mac
Office, a lot of people think MS just has Mac Office to give the users the
bare minimum. They also made the update to Office 2004 instead of making us
upgrade to a new version.

Mike
