I have TRAC installed on an OS X server running 10.4.7. I installed it using Fink without any hiccups. I believe there is also a Darwin Port for this as well. Either method is much easier than trying to install all of the additional requirements by hand. The only thing I can remember doing after the installation (it was installed awhile ago) was changing the write permissions on the directory. It is, in essence, a wiki front end on svn, so the web directory will need write access as well as the svn files.
