Paul / Dave,
Safari is a Universal Application, so there is one version for both
platforms..
All:
As we will always suggest, please submit any and all bugs you see in
any Apple Application or on Mac OS X / Mac OS X Server at:
http://bugreport.apple.com/
Many times, customer feedback and better understanding of failing
environments are key to solving issues and in solving them quicker.

Hi Paul,
Thanks. I should have mentioned that I'm using a PowerPC--could be
the
Intel version of Safari doesn't have that problem.

I have the latest version (3.0.4.552310) which seems to be later
than yours.
I'm pretty sure it's the latest version because I just got the
computer a few
weeks ago and it hasn't loaded any updates.
In this version, your issue seems to be resolved (doesn't happen).

Greetings,
Has anyone else noticed that the new version of Safari [Version
3.0.4
(523.12)] breaks the AKO buttons that control downloads, etc. for
files?Basically, the buttons don’t appear at all.
Regards,
Dave
