I don't remember a "briefing", but the NETCOM TECHON is published which
supports Macs -- following is the original email on that with the "goto"
information. CIO has stated that they will be issuing (soon??) an AGM (Army
Gold Master) disk much the same as they do for windows. But an AGM only
configures the OS to an Army Standard configuration and adds some Army
related software such as "PureEdge" forms reader, Adobe Reader, etc. (And,
going way-way-out on a limb, I might hope that the AGM will include a site
licensed 'AdmitMac' for joining domains.]

NETCOM has updated the authorization allowing Mac OS X (10.4) on Army
networks. The latest Technical Authority (TA) Implementation Memorandum is
2003-005c, Army Enterprise Desktop Standardization, dated Sept 13, 2006.
The document is posted on the AKO site under:

NETCOM also provided the following URL for a document on how to setup CAC
email for encrypting and signing. HYPERLINK
