Can anyone from Apple discuss POSIX conformance testing/certification
for MacOS X? My friends within The Open Group told me that they were
working with Apple 5 years ago, but then -something happened-, and I
can't get any more info. To the best of my knowledge, Apple has not
obtained a POSIX conformance certificate from The Open Group (IAW the
IEEE rules for POSIX conformance testing.)
<rant>It's really frustrating to me to have a platform that is -much
more standards conformant- than Windows, but to not have the
documentation to prove it.</rant>
