While this is true as far as it goes, it's worth pointing out that
Apple's VPN client implements the existing VPN standards (PPTP and
L2TP/IPSec). Any variation from this at the server's end means your
organization has deployed a proprietary VPN solution.
Not that that's uncommmon, mind you.
