I was a fan of it also until I switch to an intel OS X system. I
could never get the CAC reader, CAC and FF to play nice together.
Usually just froze FF to the point of a force quit. I spent about
half a day trying various "fixes", none of which worked. I ultimately
went back to Safari.
Just a data point for the list.

Are there additional steps to include FireFox as CAC-aware. I
thought FF
maintained its own certificate store. There might also be some minor
differences in operational details with FF. In the past FF did not
seem
to be as friendly as Safari when the CAC is removed and put back in to
the reader.
