compatible yet
This may not be the first time that we have encountered of incompatibility issues with Apple HDD (i.e. Intel –Base Apple) or Operating System (OSX v10.4 first released.)
Let’s not forget about the Cisco VPN client was not compatible with than newly released Mac OSX v10.4 “ Tiger, and some of Adobe Products were not fully universal binary applications that was not compatible with Apple’s Intel-Based computer for sometimes.
Coming soon, the File Maker Pro 9 will Mac OSX 10.5 Leopard compatible.
I can see why the CISCO VPN client might need to go below the POSIX
interfaces, maybe even as far as installing a KEXT. I can't understand
why FileMaker Pro would need to do this. The only thing that would be
"reasonably acceptable" is changes either in Core Data or in the
appropriate user interfaces libraries.
