Oh, I agree...and I wasn't the original poster, but essentially was
just verifying that I could see the same issue. At first glance/guess,
it would appear that the applet designed to verify the correct/proper
presence of Java was "not inited" for some reason (duh), and I can't
guess why that would be without looking into it further (which I may
do when I have some more time).
