I'll admit it. I wanted to see what it would be like to be one of
the (m)asses who stood in line this morning for the new Iphone. It
seemed like it would be a nerd's version of a rave.
I now have one, after standing in line literally from 0700 to 1030,
watching people buy places in line for hundreds of dollars
(including Soldiers who offered their spots for $200...and they were
serious). Listening to the rumors that the hackers were already
trying to disrupt the service...I now have an Iphone, car charger
and holster...but will have to go back again because some AT&T dweeb
didn't know what he was doing and my ride had to make a wedding in
Atlanta and couldn't wait for me to try to find someone to fix the
issue.
So I'm $400 poorer, without a working Iphone. Way to go, AT&T.
It's ugly out there, people.
