Mine did fine - at 2AM - working with wifes most of the morning - figure
the iTunes site is essentially undergoing a Denial of Service attack of
sorts.

Apparently it's going very badly, as the Activation server seems to be
down currently. Lots of folks updating to 2.0 software are ending up
with bricks -- new software is installed, but the phone can't be
reactivated. Hope that gets fixed soon.
