According to MacWorld UK <http://www.macworld.co.uk/ipod-itunes/news/index.cfm?RSS&NewsID=22053#http://www.macworld.co.uk/ipod-itunes/news/index.cfm?RSS&NewsID=22053> , guys on the iPhone dvt team have managed to jailbreaks an iPhone 3G and are reportedly applying the final touches to a free unlocking tool for the smart phone.
The Apps known as “ PWNAGE” , is being updated to allow users to either unlock their iPhone to run on other network wireless carriers ( including pas –as-you-go networks) or to run non-approved 3rd parties apps on the devices.
