Classification: UNCLASSIFIED
Caveats: NONE

I managed to get IE 7 on my XP Intel Mac, as I am not allowed Safari or
Firefox. Very shortly I found that the browser is of little consequence.

I have reached the me.com login page, once. After logging in and in
various other attempts, I receive the AMRDEC Content Filter Violation:
The Websense category "Personal Network Storage and Backup" is filtered.

I suppose this means that I will never be able to use MobileMe mail. So
progress has trashed my access to webmail.

Perhaps this would be something to take up with the folks who run the AMRDEC Content Filter...i.e., that me.com needs to be excluded. Or that, at least, they should figure out a way to only block the iDisk portion(s) of the service instead of the whole thing wholesale. This could also be a part of an automated site list update that the filter received.

(Aside from the fact that Gmail, Yahoo, and pretty much every other webmail provider could technically be used for "personal network storage and backup" in some sense.)
