Anyone else hit the following non-CAC-related problem between Safari and DKO/AKO ?
While I can now get on DKO using Safari (Version 3.1.2 (5525.20.1)), MacOS 10.5.4 (Build 9E17) with my CAC, I hit the following problem --- even when I log on using plaintext username/password.
When I navigate to a page that has a list of entries that exceeds the size of a frame (say a list of available files or recent posts), the list is only partially displayed with a navigation bar full of hotlinks to navigate to the next set of entires --- but none of those hotlinks work. If I hit the "next screen" button or "number" (within the frame), it is ignored.
For example, if there is a list of items that contains 35 entries broken into sub-lists of 10 (within a frame), one should be able to refresh the frame with the next set of 10, jump to the 3rd set of 10 or change the number of items displayed from 10 to 20. But if I click on any of these, nothing happens. The following shows the frame navigation bar of the above example.
1 - 10 of 35 [1] 2 3 4 Show [10] 20 50 100
(Note that this works under Firefox 3.0 using plaintext username/password so it appears to be a problem with Safari independent of CAC.)
If the "Developer Menu" is turned on in Safari, the following error is reported:
Value undefined (result of _expression_ COMPONENTS[name]) is not an object. Cannot be used with new.
Is anyone else seeing this problem ? It's not clear if this is a DKO/AKO coding problem or a Safari compatibility problem.
Thanks, Basil

There was one day last week (Friday or Saturday) that CAC log on didn't work with - maybe it was a hiccup with the site itself. I do have another problem with Safari and DKO - the tool banner across the top of the page that lets you add and delete files and do other important things if you are in a file library doesn't even show up. The forward and back arrows to navigate a file library that's more than one page long show up but don't work. To a casual observer it looks like yet another DoD site that has Internet Explorer dependencies. I haven't tried it with Firefox because, as far as I know, that's still unstable for folks running Leopard and some/all card/reader combinations. Also, I haven't seen anything since the initial reports, but I assume that the latest update to Leopard (10.5.3) still breaks CAC access with Safari??? Lee Z.
