A quick search of the web seems to infer that XFDL is an old forms
format, dating back to 1998. I found a reference to a conversion from
XFDL to XHTML, http://osdir.com/ml/web.xforms.ops.user/2007-02/msg00009.html
, and an open source product called Orbeon, http://www.orbeon.com/,
that runs under Tomcat. I won't comment on the use of older forms
software since we still use Informed Filler on occasion.
I didn't find any reference to OSX use of XFDL.

Anyone know anything about this? Is there a Mac product available
for this format? Although there seems to be an RFC to define the
format, it appears that there's a single proprietary product called
PureEdge that at least the Army is pushing.
