Better question is, if someone paid for it out of their own pocket,
will you allow them to get their email from the .gov email server with
it's tech?

We've officially said that we will not support the iPhone for any
business needs. For us, it isn't necessarily an OS issue, but it is
a fiscal one. When we are getting Blackberries basically for free
as part of our contract, why would we spend $500 of *taxpayer's*
money for an iPhone?
For personal use, it is of course another story, but for a .gov
organization, we just can't justify it.

Is it worth waiting to buy an I-phone for it to come out with the I-
phone 2.0 software for the average user or is it "pushed" through
the phone no matter which version of the phone or OS you already
have? (That is, will I have to bring the phone back to have it
upgraded if I buy it now if the software is the only thing that
will change)?
To tell the truth, reading reports of what the new software will do
makes me nervous...Sounds as if it's fruit that is becoming more
and more tempting to hackers and hijackers at hotspots, thorugh You
Tube, etc. and if I understand that developers are about to have a
much greater ability to "push" their software to the phones it
seems to infer the possibility of pushing malware being upped
exponentially.
