Hi All:
We are trying to connect a MacBook Pro (10.4.11) to a Tandberg 3000
VTC to have the Tandberg send the screen in "Presentation Mode". We
are using the VGA cable that comes with the Tandberg, and the monitor
cable that comes with the MacBook Pro. Facts:
1. The VGA cable hooks into a Dell laptop and it all works.
2. On the Mac, I see the Tandberg as another screen, but the
Tandberg doesn't see me.
3. There appear to be pin differences in the two systems (the PC
has less I believe).
4. We tried every combination of resolution/refresh rate/colors you
can think of.
Has anyone else tried this, and might know what is causing the
problem (I assume it is presence/absence of some pins) and can point
to a hardware or software solution.
Thanks,
-Roy M.
