I used Shawn's version 1.2 patch to get my Oberthur card to work with
Mail and Safari under OS X 10.5.5.
However my supervisor greatly prefers Thunderbird.
I wanted to get information before I tried any solutions that might
disable what I currently have working and my supervisor has an old CAC
card so I have some time to deal with this part of the problem.
By the way all our readers are SCR33x firmware 5.18 till I find a
machine that can patch the firmware--it's seems that once ActivCard Gold
is installed I can't flash the reader's firmware on that machine.
The firmware flasher requires you to shut ActivClient down first, so
that shouldn't be a problem.
FWIW, I have an SCR3310 (v5.25), Oberthur CAC, and Coolkey installed and
working in Firefox. TB shouldn't be an issue.
