Title: Re: Exchange/AD Support
Bob....please call Cade King, NETCOM AGM Desk. Macs will work on exchange/AD without running Windows. (If your question was simply about which virtualization software is approved please disregard the explanation)
MS Entourage is used as the email client and Thursby's ADmitMac is used as the CAC middleware for single sign-on to active directory.
The OSX AGM now has an ATO. There is still no ELA but if you buy individual licenses you should be able to run it on an Army network.
Good luck.

I see all the traffic on the list about getting Macs to work with CAC
cards and Exchange servers and am just curious which approach will give
us the best chance of getting our new Macs to work in an Army DOIM
environment with CAC cards and our Exchange servers.
On Army bases will one method stand a better chance or the other? I
understand the difference in the approach both applications use to
provide Windows on the Mac. Any other pointers will be appreciated.
Thanks
