Hi-
We’ll be going through a large user migration project
fairly soon – about 2000 machines a year, for well, ever. Macs are a
small percentage of the machines (Windows being the rest) but I wanted to put
together some sort of migration tool package that would make
migration/deployment to a deployment tech as easy as possible. I’m
thinking that I’ll have a shell script/automator action snap a disk image
of the /Users folder to make sure user data is backed up first, then have it
call the Migration Assistant. My first question is, can the Migration
Assistant be automated at all?
