Walter,
You can use the Coolkey module from Fedora/Red Hat. I previously posted
instructions on how to install it to this list here:
http://lists.apple.com/archives/fed-talk/2008/Oct/msg00057.html
The previous note mentions the path to Coolkey to use in Firefox, but
didn't mention where to put it. For Firefox 3, you go to Firefox ->
Preferences -> Advanced -> Encryption -> Security Devices -> Load. Then
enter the path in the Module Path box and "Coolkey" (or whatever you
want) in the Module Name box.

Subject: [Fed-Talk] CAC's Firefox and OS X 10.5.4+
Has anyone figured out a configuration/software bundle that will get
Firefox to access CAC based certificates when using OS X 10.5.4 or later
with the Apple CAC related patches?
There are some sites that just will not work with Safari (I am actually
running 10.5.6 and I have identify preferences entered in KeyChain
Access) and it works with some DoD sites.
Unfortunately other web sites don't work with the Apple supplied Safari
based approach so I am hoping that Firefox might do the trick.
Any help will be much appreciated.
Walter
