Mac OS X 10.5 (Client) Security Configuration Guide - Second Addition

I am very pleased to announce the immediate availability of the much anticipated Security Configuration Guide for Mac OS X 10.5 - Second Addition which was developed under collaboration between Apple, NSA, NIST and DISA.

_______

Apple / NSA / NIST / DISA:
All four organizations collaborated on the published document, however, as is the standard procedure, all three US Federal Government Organizations will be performing their own additional Public/Private review. Any additional feedback, updates and modifications will be incorporated into the Snow Leopard Security Configuration Guides.
_______

**** As of Jan 18, this updated version is not yet posted on NSA's website. Please be patient a bit longer until it completes their final review ****

NSA's website and standard location for guides has recently changed:

Operating Systems Guides

If you have any comments, concerns, suggestions or submissions relevant to the security guides, you are more than welcome to respond directly to this release announcement.
